1. Who we are

MacroTracker24 ("we", "us", "our") operates the Macro/24 website and application. We act as the data controller for the personal data we collect about you through the Service.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password hash.
• Profile and tracking data: body metrics, macro targets, logged meals, meal photos you upload, workouts, and preferences.
• Support messages: content of your emails and messages to us.
• Usage and telemetry: pages viewed, features used, device type, browser, and general diagnostic logs.
• Technical identifiers: IP address, cookies and similar identifiers.

Payment card and billing details are collected directly by our reseller Paddle and are not stored by us.

3. How we use your data

• Create and operate your account (contract).
• Provide tracking and recipe library features (contract).
• Respond to support requests (contract / legitimate interests).
• Improve product performance and reliability (legitimate interests).
• Prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
• Send transactional and, where you opt in, product updates (consent).

4. AI features

When you upload a meal photo for macro estimation, the image is sent to our AI provider only to generate an estimate. We do not use your photos to train models.

5. Who we share data with

• Service providers / subprocessors: cloud hosting, database, email delivery, error monitoring, and analytics tools that process data on our behalf.
• Paddle.com Inc.: our Merchant of Record, for checkout, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers: legal, accounting and compliance advisors, where necessary.
• Authorities: when required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Our subprocessors may be located outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and adequacy decisions.

7. Retention

We keep account and tracking data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. UK/EEA users can also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege service accounts. No system is 100% secure; report suspected issues to Sashapessos@gmail.com.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We may also use limited analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
